Here are some photos of the banquet/meeting room at Spring Creek Barbecue, 5810 S. Broadway Ave., where the Romance Writers of America - East Texas Chapter currently meets.

This last photo shows the main dining area and a peek inside the banquet room (behind the windows). The room does have windows that the main dining area people can see. I think that is good in a way because we are more visible, meaning people will ask who we are and what we are doing, and that might end up with getting us new members in the long run.
I'm really excited about this new place. For me as a cashier in a convenience store it was hard to get home around midnight figure out what to take on Saturday run by grab it at the store. If there was stuff left over hoped I could convince coworkers to help me eat it. I usually head to work after the meeting on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteTruly this will be a great place and better location I think for us. Higher visiblity means hopefully more traffic more writers coming and joining this great group.
